About Me

Hi, my name is Maya Leslie, and I am a Georgia native who attended Xavier University of Louisiana and received my Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2021. Primarily serving the early intervention and adult population, I enjoy working with patients and their families to best meet each clients' unique needs. My areas of significant interest include early language, pediatric dysphagia, adult dysphagia, and stroke rehabilitation. I have experience working with individuals with complex medical conditions suck as Tracheostomy, Ventilator, and Supplemental Nutrition(NG, G-Tube, TPN) along with other complex medical conditions. I am certified in the Neonatal Oral-Motor Assessment, Sensory-Motor Feeding, Fiber optic Endoscopic Evaluation of the Swallow (FEES), SOFFI Feeding Fundamentals for NICU and Early Intervention Populations, Sequential Oral Sensory(SOS) approach to feeding, Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow(FEES), and the Lively Letters Literacy Program. I primarily serve the Greater New Orleans area, and I am available throughout the week.
